Brian Roland, is a 35-year entertainment industry veteran. As a Producer/Director Roland won 2 Emmy Awards and 17 Angel Awards. Listed in Who’s Who in American Entertainment and Who’s Who in Worldwide Entertainment, Roland launched 8 International Networks for the Discovery Channel in Asia, Australia/New Zealand, Europe and the Middle East. With Crawford Communications, Roland held various positions. As General Manager of Georgia Dome Productions, Roland managed a facility that consisted of a Beta SP edit suite and production of live events with video feeds to 537 monitors and two Sony JumboTrons. Events included Professional and College Football, Professional and College Basketball, Motor Sports and Concerts. As Director of Network Operations and Director of Business Development, Roland managed a staff of 106 people and was responsible for the origination of 28 networks including Discovery Channel, FOX Latin America and Outdoor Life Network.
Roland also worked in the film industry as a title and graphics camera operator on Top Gun, Rocky IV, Cobra and Pretty in Pink. Roland is a member of I.A.T.S.E Local 659 Motion Picture Camera Union and holds a degree in communications from Evangel University. “Throughout my career, I’ve worked in both Christian and secular broadcasting and have been successful with on-air presenting, production, operations, business development and sales. I’ve had wonderful opportunities to create programming and launch a number of successful cable networks for broadcast, as well as producing and directing live shows for online pay-per-view events.”
